Walking around OaxacaView
The oldest archaeological site in Mexico and World Heritage Site, 24km away from OaxacaView dates back to 500 b.C. The first planned pre-Hispanic city measures more than 20 square kilometers and was one of the most important religious, cultural, and political centers of Mesoamerica, and served as a pilgrimage site for centuries. The Zapotecs chose the strategic location situated atop a mountain range with an incredible panoramic view of the Oaxaca valley.
