Santa Maria del Tule is a lively place with the famous 2000 years old tree with the remarkably widest trunk in the world: 58-meter circumference, a 14-meter diameter and more than 42-meters high, set in a beautiful little park. It takes about 30 people holding hands to surround the tree. The Tule tree festival is celebrated on the second Monday in October.
